Gracie owes a lot to her sister Ashley and Ashley's husband, Dylan — including, apparently, her future husband. What started as a summer beach day somehow ended with them helping manage her Hinge profile "just for fun." A week later, Gracie matched with Jason. To this day, there is some disagreement over who actually made the first move — Gracie insists it was her, while Ashley and Dylan may claim partial credit. Either way, Gracie and Jason are very grateful that someone made it. Ashley quickly became invested in the relationship and was particularly disappointed when the two moved from Hinge messages to texting, ending her ability to keep up with all the latest developments.

After talking for about a month, Gracie and Jason finally met up for what were possibly the worst tacos either of them had ever eaten, in a restaurant with no air conditioning. Somehow, they still sat there talking for an hour and a half. From the beginning, Gracie was drawn to how funny, genuine, kind, and driven Jason was (and yes, the fact that he was tall definitely helped). Jason, meanwhile, appreciated Gracie's ambition, quick wit, and ability to make life more fun. Before long, they realized they could spend hours talking about just about anything.

As their relationship grew, so did the adventures. From trips to St. George, California, and Arizona to countless everyday moments together, they've loved finding new experiences to share. One of the moments that stands out most came a few months into dating when Gracie spent two weeks in Hawaii with her family. Despite the three-hour time difference, the two talked on the phone for hours nearly every day, with Jason often staying up until midnight just to keep the conversation going. Somewhere between the laughs, the teasing, and Jason patiently navigating Gracie's now-famous "nervy tummy," they realized this might actually be forever.

Today, they're counting down the days until September and couldn't be more excited. They look forward to a lifetime of adventures, making each other laugh, solving problems together, and building a life they love side by side.
